Commody is a next-generation car collecting platform that enables anyone to become a real car collector, starting from just €25.
Here you can invest in carefully selected, rare, and exceptional cars owned by verified collectors, becoming a legally registered co-owner with all the rights, privileges, and experiences that come with it.
Until now, car collecting has been an exclusive world – accessible only to those with large budgets, insider knowledge, and the right connections. Commody opens that world to everyone.
Here, anyone can become a true car collector – without the hassle of storage or maintenance, but with real ownership and the full collector experience.
Each collectible car on the Commody platform is divided into a limited number of collectible units that represent real, legally registered co-ownership of the vehicle. Purchased units are immediately assigned to your account and recorded on the blockchain to ensure transparent and secure ownership tracking.
Once all collectible units are sold, the car is transferred to a specially created SPV (special purpose vehicle) that represents all co-owners – including the original collector. The SPV becomes the official owner of the car, registered in the national vehicle registry, and each co-owner receives a digital ownership certificate confirming their share.
The car remains in the care of its original collector, a museum, or a trusted partner. They are responsible for storage, maintenance, insurance, and all related costs as outlined in the SPV agreement. This ensures that every car stays in professional hands, while your ownership is protected both legally and digitally.
Commody is for everyone who’s passionate about cars — from seasoned collectors to those just starting to explore this world. It’s also for anyone who wants to own a real part of an iconic car and see collectible cars as a tangible, meaningful way to invest.
Commody was founded by a team combining expertise in finance, technology, and automotive culture: wealth management expert Vilius Oškeliūnas, marketing strategist Gerda Oškeliūnė, fintech entrepreneurs and founders of Savy and HFinance Vytautas Zabulis and Gintautas Ščerbavičius, IT solutions specialist Martynas Pranaitis, and automotive journalist and enthusiast Vitoldas Milius.
