What cars are we looking for?

We’re looking for exceptional cars with a story worth collecting — rare, significant or highly desirable models with strong collector appeal.

Your car should have:

  • Clear ownership and documented provenance
  • A well-documented history
  • Good or exceptional condition
  • Strong collector appeal
  • The ability to be independently valued and insured

Not sure if your car qualifies? Tell us about it and our team will take a look.

How it works

1. We assess your car
We review its history, provenance, condition and collector appeal.

2. Your car is independently valued
Your car is independently valued by Classic Car Ratings. If you’re happy with the assessed value, we then agree how much ownership you want to make available to collectors.

3. We create your car’s listing
Commody photographs your car, tells its story and lists the collectible car units for sale.

4. Collectors join you
Collectors acquire the units you make available, while you keep the ownership you choose to retain.

What happens to your car?

Your car stays with you. As the primary holder, you continue to take care of its storage, insurance and maintenance, while Commody takes care of the co-ownership structure and administration.

To help preserve the car’s condition and value, its use and annual mileage are agreed with Commody.

What happens afterwards?

Once the initial offering is complete, collectible car units can be bought and sold between collectors through the Commody Marketplace (coming late 2026).

If you retain units, you remain a co-owner and can choose to list your units for sale later.
